Merl's Mame Arcade Machine
Computer
My wife and I have been talking about upgrading our computer, so she was anxious for me to finish and enthusiastic about getting a new computer. We decided the old computer would go in the arcade machine. It was a 6 year old Packard Bell legend 406, desktop model. Here are the specs on it:

Now we are cooking! Purchased a biostar motherboard, with a 2.4 Ghz Pentium processor, with case and power supply for $165 delivered, on EBAY. I purchased and installed an 80 gig, Western Digital hard drive, 48 CD-RW , and the 512 RAM module for another $189. Loaded windows 98, and Shazam, a lightning fast arcade machine for under $400!
